Leftover parts. I tried to sell all the sheet metal, but there was a little too much rust on the tub and front fender. The hood, too, had problems: It seems to have popped up on someone at high speed and creased the metal at windshield height. And so forth. In short I had leftover parts. And after looking on Craig's for a tabletop, it occured to me that my mother had a couple of big pieces of glass just sitting around waiting for a job. I was looking for 4' x 6'. She had 3 1/2' x 6'. Ok!
Even the radiator got sliced.
